Two FIRST knitting lessons in a row

By emy Saturday, April 17, 2010
Today has been fairly intensive -- there were 2 new ladies who just signed up knitting lessons with us. And both arranged to have their first lessons held today.

Em would not be consider a newbie as she had knitted long time ago. But she said she has since stopped knitting for the last 5 years. It's amazing how your hands remember those actions -- the knitting motions came back to her fairly quickly once I did the swatching run through with her.

As for Z, she is new to knitting and was certainly apprehensive. But once she started relaxing, the knitting simply fell into place.

And I swear the stripey goddess must have been lingering in my house since both chose their first projects with stripe color work in them!

These first sessions lasted around 2.5 ~3.5hrs; given the time needed for pattern search, followed by yarn selection, tension swatching, pattern adjustment etc.

Hence, if you are wondering why our Apr new customer quota is full, we simply need to space out all new enrolments to ensure that our teaching quality is upheld.

So please leave us your mobile contact number if you are keen to attend our upcoming preview in May -- limited slots on first-come, first-served basis.
