Crochet blooms
She went to the book store to purchase 2 pattern books that focused on just crochet flower patterns.
Unlike the typical two-dimension flower motifs that we are used to, the patterns in the books offers three-dimensional blooms.
Suffice to say, the level of difficulty is higher. Trying imagining how a 3D pattern is to be drawn on paper; what's more, in Japanese symbols.
Here's one that she mastered successfully.
Isn't it gorgeous?
The use of these blooms are endless -- you can use them to accent hairbands, hair clips, as wedding corsages etc.
Other than this, she's still very much on track for her knitting/crochet tunic.
