This is updated to reflect the latest practices at The Handiworks.

Please do also note that this site is about 8 years old now so we try where possible to keep our business framework relevant but if you see inconsistencies, please do highlight it.

As the title goes:

Due to increasing enquiries on class lessons and session bookings, I've drawn up a chart to make it easier for everyone (myself included.)

Lesson bookings and scheduleOur lessons are on appointment basis -- this allows flexibility and provides convenience to customers who may attend lessons at their preferred timings, subject to lesson slot availability. Bookings are available as follows:

  • Mondays to Fridays: evenings only [7.30 - 9.30pm]
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays ONLY: ALL DAY [from 10am to 9.30pm]
  • Saturdays/Sundays: ALL DAY [10am to 6pm]
  • Closed on Eve and on Public Holidays

About weekends
As you can see, weekend slots are really limited so please try to give advance notice. I'll need your mobile phone or a contact number where I could get your confirmation. I'm not going the route of asking for confirmation deposit yet so it's a *ladies' handshake*. However, if there's a lot of last minute cancellations or postponements, I'll have to bring up this subject then.

[The usual rescheduling / no show penalty applies.]

From time to time, there may also be some clickety click sessions for students where they just come over, sit, knit, crochet, chat and have some drinks (Whew...that's a lot of activities but we all multi-task, don't we?) I'll try to put up such notices in advance so that slot becomes unavailable temporarily.

Next up, I'll be posting some FAQs (frequently asked questions) from the emails that I receive and hopefully the answers put up will make it easier for those keen to learn knitting or crochet or making bookings etc.

Customers planning their first lesson session
Please do try to pick a daytime slot as you will require an extended time slot usually due to pattern/yarn selection.

PS. This Sat, Nov 12 is fully booked.
